Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 25,780 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 25/05 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 157,100 MT, compared to 107,220 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 2,830 MT at 34,840 MT versus 37,670 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 22,800 MT from last year's 40,480 MT.
