Good U.S. Edible Bean Seeding Progress
WASHINGTON - May 24/05 - SNS -- Seeding of this year's dry edible bean crop has fallen behind last year's pace and the recent five-year average, judging from data available from states reporting seeding progress.
Soil moisture conditions are good. New York, Montana and Colorado are the driest states at mostly adequate to short; while topsoil moisture is mostly adequate to surplus in Michigan, Minnesota, and North Dakota.
