Prices Spur Guatemalan Coffee Crop
WASHINGTON - May 23/05 - SNS -- Coffee growers in Guatemala are responding to higher international prices by boosting production this season, with output now estimated at 3.77 million (60 kilogram) bags.
The U.S. agricultural attache for the country said grower returns have doubled over the past year to U.S. $120 per bag.
