Grass Seed Output Slipped in DenmarkWASHINGTON - May 17/05 - SNS -- Grass seed production slipped in Denmark last year to 87,932 metric tons (MT), just below the record 90,000 MT grown in 2003. Reporting on the sector, the U.S. agricultural attache for the country said Total grass seed area for 2005 is expected to increase to 85,000 hectares, 2,000 hectares more than the record year of 2004.
