Thunder Bay Port Clearances Lag Last YearVANCOUVER - May 9/05 - SNS -- Last year's massive increase in the size of Canada's specialty crop harvest has not translated into larger shipments through licensed terminals at Thunder Bay, according to data available from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association. Clearances of all specialty crops between August and April of the 2004-05 marketing year total 223,367 metric tons (MT), down from 264,547 MT during the same nine-month period of the 2004-05 marketing campaign.
