Canadian Egg Output Decline ContinuesOTTAWA - May 9/05 - SNS -- Egg production declined from year earlier levels in March, contributing to a continuation of the decline in Canadian egg output which started in November of 2003. Statistics Canada reports egg production reached 48.2 million dozen in March. The federal agency added that poultry meat production reached 93.4 million kilograms in March, down 1.8% from March 2004.
