Few Changes in Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - May 8/05 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week mostly unchanged, with offers from sellers around the world remaining slightly below the needs of end users.
Processors in the United States are generally not eager sellers. Most report they expect to finish the marketing year with almost no unsold beans on hand and limited inventories of sold, but unshipped product. This has helped steady the spot market index, which finished the week up one point at 901.
