Chickpeas Unchanged in Light Trade
VANCOUVER - May 8/05 - SNS -- Chickpea markets were generally steady under relatively light trading conditions, with some improvement in enquiry for kabuli and desi chickpeas noted from the Indian subcontinent.
Limited seeding progress was reported in parts of Saskatchewan during the past week. Modest new crop trading in medium kabuli chickpeas continues to be reported in California at both the grower and dealer level.
