Cotton Output Slides in EgyptWASHINGTON - Apr 28/05 - SNS -- Disinterest in growing cotton this year is expected to result in a significant decline in the size of this year's harvest in Egypt. The U.S. agricultural attache for the country says 2005-06 total cotton area is expected to be 643,000 feddans (270,000 HA), compared to 730,000 feddans (307,000 HA) in 2004-2005.
