Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 17,440 MT
KANSAS CITY - Apr 14/05 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 127,350 MT, compared to 105,190 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 10,880 MT at 25,350 MT versus 36,230 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 6,450 MT from last year's 39,890 MT.
