SeCan Appoints New GM
OTTAWA - Apr 12/05 - SNS -- SeCan named Jeff Reid its new General Manager effective May 1.
Reid had worked with C&M Seeds in Palmerston, Ontario for the past 17 years, fulfilling roles in Research, Sales and Marketing and most recently Marketing and Industry Relations.
As General Manager, Reid will manage the daily operations and administration of SeCan, in addition to leading initiatives for the company's future direction. He will continue his role with the Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA), as Director and Intellectual Property Committee Chair. Reid will be taking over for Larry White who retires from the position April 30, 2005 after 24 years of service.
