Eggs Used by Manufacturers JumpsWASHINGTON - Apr 7/05 - SNS -- Food manufacturers reported a solid increase in the quantity of eggs used in February, with the USDA reporting a 9% increase over last year at 155 million dozen shell eggs broken. During calendar year 2005, shell eggs broken totaled 315 million dozen, up 9% from the 288 million dozen broken in 2004.
