Peas Buffeted by Corn, Soybean Reports
VANCOUVER - Apr 1/05 - SNS -- International field pea markets continued to be pushed lower in response to weakness in protein meal markets, while the impact was moderated by strength in corn, oat and other coarse grain markets.
While field pea seedings in North America have the potential to rise this year, as acreage gains in the United States may offset slippage in Canada -- world markets are taking their direction from the interplay between coarse grains and oilseeds for the attention of farmers.
