Myanmar's Pulse Exports CrashWASHINGTON - Mar 28/05 - SNS -- Exports of pulses from Myanmar or Burma crashed in January, totalling just 35,728 metric tons (MT), according to official data available from the country's government. This is the worst start for a calendar year since the year 2000, when exports totalled just 29,204 MT. But, industry participants believe actual shipments are significantly higher, reflecting dramatic growth in the quantity of pulses smuggled into India and China.
