Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 14,280 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 22/05 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 109,910 MT, compared to 96,510 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 9,890 MT at 22,000 MT versus 31,890 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 1,400 MT from last year's 37,020 MT.
