CN Eases in New Weight Rules
VANCOUVER - Mar 22/05 - SNS -- The Canadian national Railway, CN Rail, will ease the transition from old to new weight restrictions on export containers.
Sharply reduced limits were to take effect March 28 as the railway imposed new limits and surcharges on overweight containers on June 1. But concerns over the sudden drop in maximum weights has prompted the railway scale in the change.
