USDA Designates New York Ag Disaster CountiesWASHINGTON - Mar 10/05 - SNS -- The USDA designated 15 counties in New York as primary disaster areas due to rain, flooding, hail, winds, lightning and low temperatures that occurred on various dates from May 1, 2004, through the end of the 2004 crop year. These counties are: Albany Genesee Oneida Rensselaer Ulster Cayuga Livingston Orange Steuben Wayne Dutchess Monroe Orleans Sullivan Yates Also eligible because they are contiguous are the following counties: Allegany Erie Niagara Putnam Schuyler Chemung Greene Onondaga Rockland Seneca Columbia Herkimer Ontario Saratoga Tompkins Cortland Lewis Oswego Schenectady Washington Delaware Madison Otsego Schoharie Wyoming
