Meat Output Declines in U.S.WASHINGTON - Mar 10/05 - SNS -- Total meat production in the United States this year is now expected to be lower than first thought, according to the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board's March supply demand forecast. The USDA notes first-quarter beef production decreased because weather-depressed feedlot performance has reduced the pace of slaughter and average carcass weights.
