Smaller Cotton Harvest in Uzbekistan
WASHINGTON - Feb 28/05 - SNS -- Lower than expected yields have resulted in a slightly smaller than expected cotton harvest in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The U.S. agricultural attache for the country said the final seed cotton harvest is estimated at 3.537 million metric tons (MT), 63,000 MT lower than the official state target.
