UK Expects Smaller Field Pea Area
LONDON - Feb 28/05 - SNS -- Field pea seedings in the United Kingdom (UK) could decline this year, according to the British Edible Pulse Association (BEPA).
Even though there is expected to be a carry out of marrowfat peas, the association plantings of this class of pea to increase in response to stronger domestic prices; while areas sown to other classes of peas will decline.
