Butter Market Response to USDA Milk Production
WASHINGTON - Feb 25/05 - SNS -- Butter markets generally increased in front of the USDA's monthly "Milk Production" reports, according to a USDA review of market reaction to the numbers.
The butter prices in this report are based on the daily cash settlement prices reported by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Weekly average prices were computed for the week before and week after each monthly "Milk Production" report.
