USDA Buys MT 4,070 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Feb 10/05 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 4,070 metric tons of field peas and lentils for shipment as food aid in March.
The USDA was able to purchase the full quantity of pulses sought under PL-480 food aid tender invitation 025A, taking 3,000 MT of lentils and 1,070 MT of yellow split peas.
