Egg Use by Manufacturers Jumps in DecemberWASHINGTON - Feb 10/05 - SNS -- Egg use by food manufacturers in the United States posted a 7% increase in December, compared to year earlier levels, reaching 169 million dozen, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2004, shell eggs broken totaled 1.93 billion dozen, up 6% from the 1.83 billion dozen broken in 2003.
