Imperial Sugar Inks Labor AgreementNEW YORK - Feb 8/05 - SNS -- Imperial Sugar Company ratified a three-year agreement with United Food and Commercial Workers Union, AFL-CIO, Local ##035;1167-P, which represents workers at its Louisiana facility. Details of the agreement which last until February 1, 2008 were not released. Virtually all the products distributed from this facility are geared to Imperial Sugar's consumer and industrial markets with particular emphasis on its Imperial and Dixie Crystal brands. In addition to these operations, Imperial also operates a cane sugar refinery in Savannah, Ga., beet processing plants in Brawley and Mendota, Calif., and a packaging and distribution facility in Tracy, Calif.
