Canadian Egg Output Maintains Down Trend
OTTAWA - Feb 8/05 - SNS -- Egg production was estimated at 47.5 million dozen in December from an estimated 24.681 million hens, down 3.5% from December 2003, according to Statistics Canada.
Poultry meat production reached 92.1 million kilograms in December, up 3.3% from December 2003.
