Deere Opens Russian Assembly Plant
NEW YORK - Feb 4/05 - SNS -- Deere & Company opened an assembly facility in Orenburg, Russia to provide seeding carts and air seeding tools to customers in Russia and other CIS markets.
In December, John Deere announced that Deere Credit, Inc. and Rosagroleasing of the Russian Federation had agreed to a Credit Facility Agreement guaranteed by the Export-Import Bank of the United States. This agreement provides up to $25 million for Russian customers to lease U.S.-built John Deere agricultural equipment.
