USDA Buys MT Pulses 19,550 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Feb 2/05 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 19,550 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid in March.
The USDA did not buy the full quantity of pulses sought under the revised PL-480 food aid tender invitation. There were no offers for 160 MT of Yellow Split Peas; and offers on a further 910 MT of Yellow Split Peas were rejected due to price.
