Bunge Building Plant in BrailNEW YORK - Feb 1/05 - SNS -- Bunge Alimentos will build a soybean processing plant in Rondonopolis in Brazil's Mato Grosso state at a cost of 232 million Brazilian reals or around U.S. $88 million. Expected to begin operation late in 2006 or early 2007, the plant will have a 1,000 metric ton (MT) per day processing capacity. The plant will complement a 1,200 MT per day cottonseed processing facility already planned for the site; and a 5,000 MT per day soybean processing facility already located at the city.
