Chickpeas Steady in Light Demand
VANCOUVER - Jan 31/05 - SNS -- North American chickpeas finished the week mainly unchanged, with little interest being shown in markets by sellers or buyers.
Growers lack the supplies to be aggressive sellers; while end users are trying hard to stretch inventories until new crop chickpeas are available from Mexico in March; then the United States, Turkey and Canada.
