USDA Reduces Lentils in TenderKANSAS CITY - Jan 24/05 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here reduced the quantity of lentils being sought under terms of the latest PL-480 food aid tender. The amount is reduced from 13,370 metric tons (MT) to 10,370 MT by reducing the quantity intended for shipment to the United Arab Emirates from 4,000 to 1,000 MT. The USDA also changed the delivery period for all pulses sought under invitation 025 to between March 6 and 27.
