Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 20,960 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 19/05 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 79,650 MT, compared to 72,380 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 2,260 MT at 20,160 MT versus 22,420 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 680 MT from last year's 30,580 MT.
