Mexico Clarifies Bean AuctionsWASHINGTON - Jan 18/05 - SNS -- The Mexican government has clarified the timing of the distribution of NAFTA Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for dry edible beans for the 2005-2007 period. The notice in Mexico's "Diario Oficial" (Federal Register) reiterates the government's plan to distribute a third of each year's TRQ during the first quarter of the calendar year and the balance during the second quarter through public auctions to people or companies established in Mexico.
