Chickpea Markets Remain Steady
VANCOUVER - Jan 14/05 - SNS -- International chickpea markets continued to hold steady, with supplies available to the market remaining in line with short term demand.
Markets were unaffected by last week's news that production in the United States was larger than initially expected. The USDA boosted its 22,561 metric ton (MT) November production 19.2% to 26,898 MT in its final crop report for 2004.
