USDA Lowers Domestic Sugar SupplyWASHINGTON - Jan 12/05 - SNS -- Projected U.S. sugar supply for 2004-05 is decreased 91,000 short tons, raw value, from last month, according to the latest forecasts developed by the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board. Cane sugar production is decreased 99,000 tons (mainly for Louisiana) and beet sugar is increased 8,000 tons, based on processors' production projections compiled by the Farm Service Agency.
