No Change in Hawaiian Ginger CropWASHINGTON - Jan 12/05 - SNS -- Hawaii ginger root production for the 2003-04 season is 6.00 million pounds, unchanged from the previous season, according to the USDA's 2004 annual crop production summary. Harvested acreage is 150 acres, 6% below from a year ago. Average yield, at 40,000 pounds per harvested acre, is 7% above the previous season but is the second lowest average yield in the past 10 seasons.
