Australian Meat Output Trends UpwardSYDNEY - Jan 11/05 - SNS -- Meat production in Australia maintained its recent upward trend through November, with output during the month rising above October and year earlier levels, according to the latest data available from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). This was the case even though trend slaughter numbers for sheep and pigs decline during the month. For sheep, monthly slaughterings have been trending down for six months, while pig slaughter has been trending downward for eight months.
