Birdseeds Start 2005 Mixed
VANCOUVER - Jan 7/05 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets are starting the new year mixed, with grower selling interest appearing to closely match the near-term needs of the market.
Companies in both the United States and Canada are starting to work with growers on 2005 crop production contracts. Confectionary sunflower seed processors in the U.S. appear to be the most aggressive at this time, offering record high new crop production contracts.
