Chickpeas Unchanged As Year Begins
VANCOUVER - Jan 7/05 - SNS -- North American chickpea markets are starting the 2005 calendar year unchanged as supplies remain well short of prospective demand.
Processors say with the failure of the 2004 harvest, Canada has virtually no large caliber, 2004 crop kabuli chickpeas available and only limited supplies of current crop small caliber kabuli chickpeas.
