Canadian Egg Production Remains LowerOTTAWA - Jan 7/05 - SNS -- Canadian egg production was below year earlier output levels for the 12th consecutive month in November, according to the latest data from Statistics Canada. Preliminary production estimates for November total 45.5 million dozen eggs, down 3.7% from last year; though up slightly from October. Statistics Canada added that poultry meat production in November reached 100.5 million kilograms in November, up 16.6% from November 2003.
