Inactivity Limits Birdseed Price Movement
VANCOUVER - Dec 31/04 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading mostly unchanged, with both growers and end users showing little interest in business.
Most processors in western Canada were closed most of the past week, with many traders taking Monday, Tuesday and Friday off work. This mirrored attitudes toward working in many importing nations and by several companies operating in North American domestic and Mexican markets.
