Chickpeas Finish Years on Mixed Note
VANCOUVER - Dec 24/04 - SNS -- International chickpea markets are entering the final days of the calendar year on a mixed note, with limited international trading interest leaving most markets in the hands of local trades.
This has seen markets on the Indian subcontinent adopt a weaker tendency as supplies of imported merchandise from Australia, Iran and Turkey available on local markets rises beyond the immediate needs of buyers.
