India Delays Phyto Rules
VANCOUVER - Dec 17/04 - SNS -- International field pea and small caliber chickpea markets finished the week on a positive note on account of further delays in the implementation of new rules on imports by India.
Changes to the country's phytosanitary rules will be delayed until May 31 in response to ongoing complaints by Canada, Australia and other nations that the new rules are unfair.
