Robinson Named Farm Bureau Insurance VPLANSING - Dec 17/04 - SNS -- Jim Robinson was named Executive Vice President of Farm Bureau Insurance, the Board of Directors of the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies announced today. Robinson has served as the Farm Bureau Insurance Vice President of Marketing since 2003. He replaces Larry Thomas, who retires as Executive Vice President effective February 2005. In his new role, Robinson will serve as CEO of the entire Farm Bureau Insurance operation in Michigan, which includes three major insurance companies: Farm Bureau Mutual, Farm Bureau Life, and Farm Bureau General. Together, these companies provide a full line of insurance services (life, home, auto, farm, business, retirement) for more than 450,000 Michigan policyholders. He will also oversee a field sales force of 440 agents in 275 offices across Michigan, as well as 700 employees located in the company home office in Lansing, and area service offices across Michigan.
