Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 6,710 MT
KANSAS CITY - Dec 16/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 58,690 MT, compared to 57,370 MT last year.
With the revision of invitation 015, prospective urchases of green peas are up 1,670 MT at 18,920 MT versus 17,250 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 8,100 MT from last year's 24,630 MT.
