USDA Designates Texas Counties as Ag DisastersWASHINGTON - Dec 14/04 - SNS -- The USDA designated Jeff Davis County in Texas as a primary agricultural disaster areas due to because of losses that occurred from Jan. 1, 2004, and continuing that were caused by drought, excessive temperatures and winds. Also eligible because they are contiguous are Brewster, Culberson, Hudspeth, Pecos, Presidio and Reeves Counties.
