USDA Boosts World Cotton Crop 2%WASHINGTON - Dec 10/04 - SNS -- World cotton output and consumption forecasts are higher than initially expected, according to the latest outlook report from the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board. World production was boosted 2% from the USDA's November report to 114.02 million 480-pound bales, while projected usage rates only increased 0.3% to 103.29 million bales.
