USDA Reports Higher Railcar LoadingsWASHINGTON - Dec 2/04 - SNS -- The number of carloads of grains and oilseeds delivered to U.S. ports since the start of the 2004-05 marketing year is up over the previous season, according to the USDA's Transportation and Marketing Programs/Transportation Services Branch weekly Grain Transportation Report. Total carloads at major port areas stands at 348,783 cars as of November 24, up 21% from the 288,792 cars unloaded during the same period last season.
