U.S. Farmers Pay Less to FarmWASHINGTON - Nov 30/04 - SNS -- The cost of fartming inched lower during the past month, with the USDA's November Index of Prices Paid for Commodities and Services, Interest, Taxes, and Farm Wage Rates (PPITW) is 134% of the 1990-92 average. The index is down 1 point from October but 5 points (3.9%) above November 2003.
