Birdseeds Mixed in Holiday Shortened Week
VANCOUVER - Nov 26/04 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were mixed in a holiday shortened trading week.
Traders with packagers and mixers in the United States were inactive most of the last half of the week because of Thursday's Thanksgiving Day holiday in that country.
The holiday also marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States. With market participants getting more focussed on family matters, December can be a slow trading month.
