Auction Raises Money for Foodgrains BankWINNIPEG - Nov 24/04 - SNS -- The Canadian Foodgrains Bank received $41,168.55 from a cattle auction organized by Vold, Jones & Vold Auction at Ponoka, Alberta. A total of 125 donated cattle were sold at the fourth annual cattle sale for CFGB on November 17. Buyers paid premium prices for the cattle, and the all VJV staff donated their time, and the company donated its commissions from the auction to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. "The cattle industry is very supportive of Canadian Foodgrains Bank. It's a great cause and we will continue to accept and sell any donated cattle until December 31. Just bring them in or contact one of our fieldmen" said Blair Vold.
